CAN'T CLEAN DISHES IN A DIRTY SINK PT 2!

Hello loves,

Thank you for being here, thank you for reading.

If you are new to my blog, I welcome you!

So here we are days after another tragic headline story.

After just digesting two other tragic headline stories in the past 30 days!

A black man (George Floyd) killed in broad daylight, by a cop that was captured on video for the world to see. The break down: On May 25th,2020 George Floyd was handcuffed and lying face down on a city street during an arrest, Derek Chauvin, a white Minneapolis police officer, kept his knee on the right side of Floyd's neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds. He was crying out for his mother and children as he finally passed away.

The video sparked an outrage from people all over the world especially in the United States of America. Which ignited hundreds of protest from peaceful ones to dangerous ones. The streets all over the states have been filled with passionate, brave, and powerful people who are tired of injustice! This also also attracted people who I feel as if are causing destruction to add fire to fiery, clearly not with the same intent of heart to promote justice and peace!

My heart goes out to those who are fighting the good fight, they have my absolute support!

I stand here today, knowing the smoke will clear, as it did before.

I stand here today, knowing the real will be left to pick up the pieces.

I stand here today, knowing there is still so much work to do.

I stand here today and say...

AS WE CLEAN THE DISHES, LETS MAKE SURE OUR "SINK" IS CLEAN!

WE CANT CLEAN DISHES IN A DIRTY SINK!

So I ask this, once we get the arrest and the convictions...

(which I really pray happens)

Then what? What do we do next?

Does that make everything better?

Will that fix the real problem we have in our "Sinks"

Lets break down sink real quick too-

Sink- heart, home, mind, or haven, "base"!

Will the place to hold the justice for our people even be clean enough?

As we take the front lines, lets take back lines, the side lines, all the lines!

It takes just that! It takes speaking to your neighbor or relative you don't like.

That person you cant seem to get along with that may look just like you, may feel act/feel just like you do, but your heart is heavy and filled with hate to relate.

Let us stop encouraging the story of having haters, lets us stop bullying each other, lets us just stop with all the bullshit! Can we keep our sinks clean in order to truly wash what we need to wash with out getting it dirty again!

It is now the month of June, we have space and time to really make a difference in this world.

Let's begin to really correct (clean), heal, and love!

Thank you for your time!

I love you all, lets clean the sink so we can clean the dishes!
