I am thrilled to be here on a light, bright, yet informative note.
I would love to bring up a special day that is approaching on us.
EARTH DAY! Earth day is on April 22nd of every year.
That is one day from this published post.
I am blogging about this because I believe we all should be aware and
do our part in keeping our Mother Earth clean.

"The idea for a national day to focus on the environment came to
Earth Day founder Gaylord Nelson, then a U.S. Senator from
Wisconsin, after witnessing the ravages of the 1969 massive oil spill in
Santa Barbara, California. On April 22, 1970, 20 million Americans
took to the streets, parks, and auditoriums to demonstrate for a
healthy, sustainable environment in massive coast-to-coast rallies.
Thousands of colleges and universities organized protests against
the deterioration of the environment. Groups that had been fighting
against oil spills, polluting factories and power plants, raw sewage,
toxic dumps, pesticides, freeways, the loss of wilderness, and the
extinction of wildlife suddenly realized they shared common values."- earthday.org
So I challenge you to do something special this earth day!
What will you do to help celebrate mother "earth day"?
I personally plan to make sure I recycle and encourage others
to do so as well. I might just read an article about our planet
and tweet out Happy Earth day!
Nonetheless happy to see the national day of awareness is still in effect.
Lets keep it strong! Lets keep it clean! Mother Earth!
